The JRC NRD-545 may be operated from a variety of power sources. A user-adjustable rotary switch on the back panel allows the selection of 100, 120, 220 or VAC ± 10% at 40 VA.

A fused power cord is also supplied for operation from 12 to 16 VDC (13.8 VDC) at 30W or less.
