Drake 2C

The Drake 2C amateur receiver is designed for reception of most amateur bands in the range of 3 and 30 MHz. The receiver coverage is in five bands. Supplied coverage includes:  3.5-4, 7-7.5, 14-14.5, 21-21.5 and 28.5-29 MHz. Optional accessory crystals provide 500 kHz incremental coverage in the range of 3 to 30 MHz. They plug into the left side panel of the radio near the 1/4 inch headphone jack. Modes of reception include USB, LSB, CW and AM. Three bandwidths are available:  0.4, 2.4 and 4.8 kHz (@-6dB). Sensitivity is less than 0.5 uV for 10dB signal plus noise to noise on all bands. Stability is 100 Hz after warm-up. This radio is a great match with the Drake 2NT transmitter.

This radio uses a blend of five tubes and 14 semiconductors. It has an S-meter. 120 VAC 50/60Hz 30W. 11.675 x 6.6 x 9.45 inches 13.5 Lbs.
