The Hammarlund HQ-105TR general coverage receiver tunes shortwave in four bands: .54-1.6, 1.6-4, 4-10, 10-30 MHz and 20 meter bandspread. Features of this receiver include: antenna trimmer, noise limiter, RF gain, S-meter, stand-by and AVC on/off. This receiver also has the novel abililty to transmit with 5 watts on the CB band. There is acess on the rear panel to insert a single CB crystal (not supplied) to transmit on CB in AM mode. The 4 pin mic jack is alson on the rear panel.
This radio does not have a built in speaker. There are 3.2 ohm speaker terminals on the rear panel. The suggested optional speaker is the S-100
