The Hallicrafters SX-140 amateur band receiver tunes these ranges:  3.5-4, 7-7.3, 14-14.4, 21-21.5, 28-29.7 MHz and 50-54 MHz. Features include:   ¼" Headphone Jack, RF Gain, ANL, Mute Line, Antenna Trimmer, Calibrator, Standby and 25:1 Tuning Ratio. This receiver matches the HT-40 transmitter.

The circuit consists of:  6AZ8 RF Amp/Crystal Calibrator, 6U8 Mixer/Osc, 6BA6 IF Amp, 6T8 AVC Detector/ANL/1st Audio Amp, 6AW8A Audio Out/S-Meter plus 2 silicon rectifiers.
