  Timewave HSC-99 HamHub

The Timewave HSC-99 HamHub™ ham station controller is an integrated interface device to control and connect station microphone, headset, footswitch, TNC, rotor controller, radio transceiver and computer. The HamHub™ puts the operator in charge of station control!

The HamHub™ has a single USB connection to the computer for both audio and control! Three opto-isolated RS-232 serial COM ports support TNCs, rotor controls, rig controls and other serial devices. The configurable rig control serial output can match older Icom, Kenwood, Ten-Tec and Yaesu TTL rig control interfaces as well as newer RS-232 interfaces. The HamHub™ sound card is dedicated to the ham station - there is no need to share or disable the computer sound card.

The HamHub™ is smart! An internal high-speed microcontroller implements and supervises many of the functions of the HamHubtm so most software functions become transparent to the operator once they are set up. Software and hardware controls interlock – the user chooses which one overrides the other. The HamHub™ operates with most soundcard and software control programs, such as CSS’s new PK-Term 3.0 (featuring sound card modems). PK-Term 3.0 controls all the functions of the HamHub™ and allows seamless switching between sound card modems and TNC modems such as Pactor. Other popular sound card programs are compatible with the HamHub basic architecture so the user can try the newest modes – even the ones that haven’t been invented yet! The HSC-DSP™ does the work and remembers its settings - no need to burden your computer with CPU-hogging DSP algorithms.
