The Diamond RH205 is not compact, is not cool looking and is not state of the art. It is just a big 2 meter telescopic antenna with tons of gain. When the RH205 is fully extended it is 47.5 inches long and operates as a 5/8 wave. When collapsed to 9 inches it acts like a 1/4 wave. It provides an awesome +9.5 dB relative gain (rated against typical stock HT antennas). It can handle up to 10 watts and terminates to a 50 ohm BNC.
