The Icom IC-551 6 meter multi-mode transceiver. The supported modes include USB, LSB, AM and CW. The FM mode is available with the optional EX-106. Frequency coverage is from 50 - 54 MHz. Power output is adjustable from 1 to 10 watts SSB/CW and 0-4 watts AM. Other refinements include: Noise Blank, Dual VFOs and built in AC power supply. 241x111x311mm 6.1 kg.
The Icom IC-551D model is similar, but is higher powered. Power output is adjustable from 1 to 80 watts SSB/CW and 0-40 watts AM. Additionally the IC-551D does not include a built in AC power supply. The suggest supply is the Icom PS-20.
