The ICOM 2GAT is a 2 meter handheld that combines quality and economy. Receive range is 138-174 MHz. Tuning steps include: 5, 10, 15, 20 or 25 Khz. Features include battery saver, 20 memories, program and memory scan, and DTMF keyboard. Power output is selectable at 7 or 1 watts. Includes BP-70 NiCad battery, BNC flexible antenna and charger. 2.6 x 5.9 x 1.4 inches.

The Icom 2GA is similar to the 2GAT, but does not have the keypad and included battery is BP-3.

The Icom 4GAT is similar to the 2GAT, but transmits on 440 MHz, instead of 2 meters. Power output is 6 or 1 watts.

The Icom 12GAT is similar to the 2GAT, but transmits on 1200 MHz, instead of 2 meters. Power output is 1 or 0.1 watts.

The Icom 12G is similar to the 12GAT, but does not have the keypad.
