BLHF-250

The Hy Power BLHF-250 is a QRP 1:1 current/choke balun for 160 through 6 meters.

This is a very efficient balun and use low permeability, less lossy ferrite than most other baluns on the market today. Less losses means less heat on the ferrite material, less chance for balun failure and more power delivered to the antenna.

The power handling capability of this choke is conservatively rated at 250 watts from 160 to 6 meters. It has a peak rating of 300 watts. These ratings are good up to a 2:1 SWR.

The MIL-SPEC transmission line used to make the balun uses: silver clad copper center conductor, silver covered shield, solid teflon dielectric and a temperature range from -100 to +200 degrees centigrade.

There has an SO239 connector for your coaxial cable input. The balun is enclosed in UV rated material. The hardware is also stainless steel so NO rust! There are also two drain holes in the bottom of the enclosure should any water migrate its way inside the enclosure.
