The Ameco R5 is a solid-state communications receivers covers 540 kHz to 54 MHz in five bands. The ranges are: .54-1.35, 1.35-3.5, 3.5-9, 9-23 and 23-54 MHz. This radio features bandspread, BFO, ANL, RF Gain and AM/CW switch. The dial is illuminated. The left side of the radio features a built-in speaker. The rear panel has terminals for antenna, ground and mute. There is also an RCA phono jack for an external Q-Multiplier.
