The Drake FS-4 frequency synthesizer was developed for use with Drake "4" line equipment including the SPR4, R-4 and T-4X series. The FS-4 plugs into an unused auxiliary crystal socket in the rear of receiver or transmitter and will supply the various injection signals to the equipment and allows continuous coverage without utilizing the accessory range crystals. An accessory modification kit is required for use with the SPR4.
