The Hallicrafters SX-42 general coverage receiver tunes from 540 kHz to 54 MHz and FM 86 to 110 MHz. There is a calibrated bandspread covering the 80, 40, 20, 10 and 6 meter bands.

Features include:  ¼" Headphone Jack, S-Meter, Phono Input Jack, Sensitivity, BFO, 4 Position Selectivity, Speaker Terminals, Flywheel Tuning, AVC ON/OFF, Dial Lamps, Hinged Top Cover, Mute Line, 4 position Tone Switch, Standby, Antenna Trimmer and Noise Limiter. This model features an impressive 10 watt audio amplifier.
