The Kenwood VC-10 VHF Converter is made exclusively for the R-2000. Installation is simple. Remove the plate on the back panel of the R-2000 and carefully slide-in and connect the VC-10. It provides its own attenuator switch and SO-239 antenna input. The R-2000 will now additionally tune 108-174 MHz in all modes. The full frequency will display on the R-2000. The VC-10 has its own RF Attenuator and SO-239 antenna input jack.
