The Icom IC-2340H dual band mobile FM transceiver boasts 45 watts output on 2 meters and 35 watts on 440 MHz. This rig features a large dual-band LCD display, simultaneous dual-band receive and even simultaneous two frequency reception on the same band. The display may be set for four levels of brightness. Four types of scanning are supported:  Full, Memory, Programmed and Scan Resume. The IC-2340H has a built-in duplexer, separate volume and squelch controls plus a built-in tone encoder.

Requires 10.5 amps at 13.8 VDC. Includes HM-77 DTMF hand mic, MB-59 mounting bracket and OPC-345 DC power cord. 5.5 x 1.6 x 6.5 inches 2.9 lbs. (140x40x165mm 1.3 kg). The rear panel has a heat sink, fan and single pig-tail SO-239 antenna jack.

The Icom IC-2340A is the same radio, but with lower RF output. Power output on both 2 meters and 440 MHz is 25, 10 or 1 watts. The power requirement is 8 amps at 13.8 VDC.
