The Yaesu FT-5200 is an innovative dual-band transceiver that allows you to remove the front panel with out tools and slip it into your pocket when you leave your car. An optional remote cable kit allows you to mount the body of the radio under a seat or in the trunk and mount the front control panel almost anywhere that is convenient for you. This radio covers 144 with up to 50 watts and 440 MHz with up to 35 watts. CTCSS encode is built-in. Requires 13.8VDC at 11.5 amps.
The Yaesu FT-5100 is similar, but without the removable front panel.
The Yaesu FT-6200 is similar to the FT-5200, but covers 440 and 1200 MHz instead of 144 and 440 MHz. Output is 35/5 watts on 440 and 10/1 watts on 1240-1300 MHz.
