Following the success of the Icom IC-251A, the Icom IC-271A 2 meter all-mode transceiver was built with state-of-the-art construction. Supported modes include USB, LSB, FM and CW. Receive is from 143.8-148.2 MHz. Enjoy 32 tunable memories storing frequency, mode and other information. Power output is adjustable from 1 to 25 watts. Other refinements include:  speech processor, all mode squelch, noise blanker S/Center Tune Meter, RIT, PL encode and lithium memory backup. Some user adjustments are available via a door on the top panel. The rear panel has an SO-239 antenna jack. Supplied with HM-12 hand mic.
