Yaesu VX-8R to
VX-8DR Upgrade

Owners of existing Yaesu VX-8Rs will be able to convert them to add the new features of the VX-8DR:
   Smart Beaconing™ Function.
   Station List memories has increased from 40 to 50.
   The number of APRS Message Memories has increased from 20 to 30.
   DIGI-PATH route indication function.
   Heads up compass display to the GPS screen.
   The Message received LED flashing rate is selectable.
   The number of DIGI-PATH route settings has increased from 1 to 7.

The radio must returned to Yaesu in Cypress, California and there will be a $60.00 fee. The customer should expect a 30 to 60 day turn-around for this upgrade.
