The Sangean ATS-606AP side panels include provision for external antenna, external DC power supply and stereo earphones or ear buds. The Lock switch locks the keypad and controls to prevent the accidental detuning of the radio. The Local-DX switch changes the sensitivity the radio while on the AM or shortwave bands. This same switch functions as a Mono-Stereo button while on the FM band.
