The Panasonic RF-B45 covers longwave 144-288 kHz, AM from 520-1610 kHz, shortwave from 1620 to 29995 kHz and FM from 87.5-108 MHz. Modes of reception include AM and CW/SSB. This radio features an up conversion double conversion circuit. You get keypad entry, High/Low tone switch, 18 memories (9 for FM and 9 for LW/MW/SW), S-meter, lock button, DX-Local switch, dual clock-timer with sleep (60 minutes), up-down tuning and ± 5 kHz fine tuning. The medium wave step may be set to 9 or 10 kHz.

There are external jacks for earphone (3.5mm mono 8 ohm), external antenna (3.5mm) and 6 VDC in. Comes with case, earphones and wire antenna. Operates from four AA cells. 8.125 x 4.675 x 1.6 inches 1.4 Lbs. (204x119x37mm 620g).
