RF Systems SP-2

The RF Systems SP-2 is designed to meet the needs of a growing number of DX'ers who have two receivers, but only one antenna. The RF Systems SP-2 is a two-way antenna splitter for 50 kHz to 50 MHz. Unlike other units, the SP-2 offers a high degree of isolation between the two receivers (less than 30 dB) to ensure independent tuning of each radio without interaction.
A constant impedance attenuator offers six steps:  0, -6, -10, -20, -30 and -40 dB. This allows you to reduce the level of strong signals which can cause overloading, often allowing weak stations to be heard above the background noise. An effective medium wave suppression filter is also built-in. This is useful if you are troubled on shortwave by a nearby AM station.

If you are fortunate enough to have two antennas, you many connect them both and select one via a toggle switch on the front panel. The unused antenna is grounded. Utilizes SO-239 jacks for both inputs and both outputs.
The SP-2 requires 110 VAC 50/60 Hz. Not for transmit applications. Click here for specifications.
