The RF Systems P-3 is an extremely well built passive receiver preselector covering 30 kHz to 32 MHz in six selectable bands. The ranges are: .03-.45, .45-1.6, 1.6-4, 4-8, 8-17 and 17-32 MHz. The long wave range of 30 kHz to 450 kHz is not variable, but formed by elliptical low-pass filter which rejects medium and shortwave frequencies by 40 dB or more. The P-3 features ultra low insertion loss and high selectivity. A switch for bypassing the preselector is conveniently mounted on the left side of the preselector. The input of the P-3 is also equipped with an protection circuit for static discharges protecting both the P-3 and the radio from static build up. The input connector and output connector are both SO-239s, plus there is a ground terminal provided. The metal case is 6.3x2.5x6.5 inches 160x60x170 mm.
