The Uniden Bearcat 100XL 16 channel, 8 band, handheld that does not require crystals. Programming is easy. Just key in the desired frequency on the keypad. You can see the entire frequency on the LCD display. You can also use the search function to automatically find new signals as it checks 25 frequencies per second. You can also use automatic lockout to skip channels not of current interest. Scanning is at 15 channels per second.

External jacks include:  antenna, earphone and DC external power. This radio operates from six AA NiCad cells provided. Originally supplied with earphone, h carry case and AC charging adapter. 2.675 x 7.5 x 1.375 inches 2 lbs 10 oz.
