Standard CCR708A

The Standard CCR708A VHF-UHF communications test receiver offers near continuous coverage from 50 to 904.995 MHz (cellular blocked) in AM, narrow FM and wide FM. This microprocessor controlled receiver utilizes a precision high stability PLL synthesizer for excellent stability. It's compact size makes it a perfect choice for portable field use. Because it is built to industrial standards, the CCR708A is a popular tool to evaluate other equipment. It is at home in the lab or on the technician's bench. The built-in, dynamic, amber colored, LCD spectral display lets you study sections of the spectrum (up to 1 MHz) for surveillance or analysis purposes. See the signal you are monitoring plus other near-by signals. The bandscope feature can be used in three ranges:  1000 kHz, 250 kHz and 100 kHz. The 100 memories are divided into ten banks. Scanning can be set for 7.5, 10, 12.5, or 20 kHz steps. The tuning knob can select frequency or memories and there is a numeric keypad for direct frequency entry. Other features include: headphone jack (3.5 mm), dimmer, tone and squelch. The rear panel jacks include:  SO-239 antenna, record out (mini), external speaker (mini), 8 VDC out (RCA) and 13.8 VDC in. Controls on the rear include:  Attenuator switch (20 dB), microprocessor reset, and FM-W mute control. The bottom panel features a speaker. The CCR708A comes with a telescopic whip antenna and 120 VAC power supply.
