The Sony ICF-C153V is as cute as is it is useful. This compact bedside companion receives AM (530-1710 kHz), FM (87.6-108 MHz), VHF TV audio (North American channels 2-13) and national weather stations (channels 1-7). This radio features three level brightness, softly backlit LCD display. It shows the time (12 hour format), or the frequency or channel number when tuning. 25 presets (10 FM, 5 AM, 5 TV and 5 weather) tune your favorite stations at the touch of a button. You can wake to the radio on Alarm A or a buzzer on Alarm B. There is even a button to show the date! A convenient one button DST (Daylight Savings Time) adjustment shifts the time back or forward one hour to conform to seasonal changes in time. You can enjoy falling asleep with the Sleep Timer which may be set for 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 or 60 minutes. When the radio or buzzer activates you can press the Snooze-Date-Sleep Off button to get 10 more minutes of rest.
