The AOR ASM8600 is an external analog S-Meter for the AR8600MkII. A cable (supplied) runs from the meter to the rear accessory connector of the AR8600MkII. It uses a white LED to backlight the meter display. Please note that this meter is not compatible with the earlier AR8600. Additionally, a modification in the AR8600MkII is required for units made prior to 01/01/06.
