Tape Recording Cable

The AOR CR5000 is an automatic recording connection cable for the AR5000/+3/C. The tape recorder (not supplied) will automatically activate when a signal is received by the AR5000 and the squelch opens. This is especially useful for unattended monitoring applications. The cable has a Mini DIN plug at one end which will plug into the ACC1 socket on the AR5000 or AR5000+3. The 3.5mm (mini) plug will plug into the MIC jack of the recorder. The 2.5 mm (sub-mini) plug will plug into the REMOTE jack of the tape recorder. If the tape recorder does not have a REMOTE jack, then transmissions cannot be automatically recorded.
