The La Crosse Technology WS-8025AL forecast station may be hung on a wall or used free standing. It can receive as many as three remote sensors (one TX4U remote temperature/humidity sensor is included). It calculates sun/moon rise/set based on the entered city name (choose from 250 North American cities). It features radio-controlled time and date plus temperature alarm for remote temperatures and a storm warning indicator. It also measures indoor and outdoor temperature. The radio-controlled time and date clock may be set for 12 or 24 hour format. This wireless system uses 433.92 MHz with a transmission range of up to 80 feet in open air. Other features include: Sunrise/Sunset and Moonrise/Moonset, Low battery indicator, dimmer function, outdoor temperature alarm and storm alarm/warning. Can be wall hung, or has a fold-out stand. The receiver requires three AA cells and the remote requires two AA cells (not supplied). Moon and sun related data can be programmed for 246 North American cities.
