 Etta James Ross KC2BHB - USA This is Etta James, nicknamed E.J., a feral found running on the east bank of the Hudson River. She was rescued and named by Mid-Hudson Animal Aid in Beacon, NY, and adopted there three years later. She found -- to her surprise -- that she liked humans, was always curious and cooperative, learned to understand a lot of spoken English. She was very smart and learned to do lots of interactive things. If I asked her to pretend to be a French cat, she'd offer both cheeks (left, then right) for kissing. If I then said, "But you're really an American cat," she'd present the crown of her head for a third kiss. She also learned to stick out her tongue on request. |
