This Hallicrafters S-53A receiver has five bands covering AM, SW 2.5-31 MHZ and 48-54.5 MHz VHF. The top hinges up for easy access to the tubes. The rear panel has antenna and headphone connections. With very worn original manual and photocopy of service manual. This radio has weak audio, the dial pointer slips and the tuning knob has a chip.  [08/05]

The Hallicrafters S-38C covers 540 kHz to 32 MHz in 4 bands plus bandspread. There is a tip type headphone jack on the back. With photocopy of manual. This radio lights up but has virtually no sensitivity. Sold AS-IS. [06/05]

This Hallicrafters 5R10 receiver has four bands covering .55 to 31 MHz. The top has a speaker. The rear panel has antenna and headphone connections. With photocopy of manual. This radio receives but has weak sensitivity and hums. Only in 'fair' cosmetic condition.  [03/07]

The Hallicrafters S-38D covers 550 kHz to 30 MHz in 4 bands plus bandspread. There is a tip type headphone jack on the rear panel. We replaced some capacitors and this radio now plays very well.  [12/07]
