The Panasonic RF-3000A has a unique analog dial. It covers the LW, AM, FM and two SW bands, selected by a band knob on the right side. Has Tune Meter, and separate knobs for Bass and Treble. The rear panel has numerous I/O and antenna terminals. There is a telescopic whip and a flip-up loop antenna The worn battery compartment is on the bottom side. This radio has the front cover missing, the AC cord should be replaced, AM and FM reception is working, but shortwave bands are not. This radio is sold AS-IS. S/N 14362C [11/08]

The Panasonic RF-5000 radio tunes the LW, AM, FM and shortwave bands which are selected by band buttons. This very rare, late production unit has 4 extra buttons for BW, AFC, ANL and BFO. It has an S-Meter, Bass, Treble and Fine Tuning. The protective front cover pulls down to reveal a world map and time zone calculator. The world map slot holds several Utilization Guides. The radio operates on AC from the built-in, multi-voltage power adapter or six D cells (not supplied). The rear panel has extensive antenna inputs. The radio has two built in whip antennas and a loop. There are small indents on the top edge corners near the handle. [12/06]
