The Japan Radio Company NDH-518 Memory Unit works exclusively with the NRD-515 receiver. This option has a hard wired cable that simply plugs into the memory port on the rear panel of the NRD-515. Power is dervived from the receiver. It stores 96 frequencies (4 banks of 24). Mode is not stored. This device requires three AA cells (not supplied). 13.4 x 2 x 7.9 inches 7.7 lbs. (340x50x200mm 3.5kg). Supplied with manual that includes schematic.

The earlier model, NDH-515 was similar, but with 24 channel capacity.

Operational Note:  Remove the three AA cells before storing to avoid battery leakage.
