The Icom CT-17 CI-V Level Converter allows the connection of the IC-718 to a personal computer RS-232C port. In fact, up to four Icom CI-V transceivers or receivers can be connected via the CT-17 at once!

The CT-17 comes with a DC power cord and mini jumper cable (to connect to the 718). The user must supply a serial cable to the computer, a 12 VDC power source and software.

The CT-17 includes the Data Format and Command Table for those who wish to write their own software. Currently ICOM does not offer 718 control software. However, 718 software is available from third party developers.
