VHF/UHF Amateur Multi Mode Transceivers Options

The Icom UT-106 Digital Signal Processing (DSP) module is a powerful option for the 910H transceiver. One or two UT-106 boards may be installed in the 910H. This plug-in board provides:

ANF Automatic Notch Filter -- This automatically minimizes beat signals and heterodynes while preserving the receive signal. Also, the notch frequency is automatically adjusted to follow interfering beat signals; for example, reducing interference from RTTY signals during SSB operation.

NR Noise Reduction -- reduces noise components and picks out desired signals which are buried in noise. The received AF signals are converted to digital signals and then the desired signals are separated from the noise.

Both ANF and NR features are accessed through the transceiver. The ANF function can be turned on or off. For NR, set the desired noise reduction level.

*ICOM America and Universal Radio highly recommend that you have an authorized ICOM dealer install the UT-106 option into your radio. ICOM America and Universal Radio cannot accept responsibility for any damage that may occur to the UT-106 or to the radio during user installation.
