The Workman Scan4 [SC1] is the answer for improved scanner performance in a vehicle, without the addition of an obtrusive vehicle antenna. It will also improve reception at home, office or hotel if you can get your base or handheld scanner near a window. The Scan4 is easy to install and consist of 5 feet of RG174 coaxial cable to a 19 inch wire antenna element. The antenna element attaches to your window via two integrated suction cups. The coax terminates to a male BNC plug.
