The Barker & Williamson BWD-90 [formerly called the BWD-1.8-30] continuous coverage folded dipole offers operation over the entire HF band without need for an antenna tuner. Work any frequency you want without going through a lot of knob twirling and measurements to get a good SWR match - just set your frequency and go! Hop frequencies at any speed as long as you want, as there are no mechanical parts or active components to wear out. It is not limited to conventional ham bands. Tune any frequency in the antenna's bandwidth, and have VSWR of 2:1 or better. Capture weak signals in receive mode. Much better performance than any vertical. Robust design using 14g stranded copper weld. It comes fully assembled, easy to install. This unique antenna design covers a continuous frequency range of 1.8 to 30 MHz, with a VSWR of less than 2:1 across the entire range when fed with a 50 ohm coaxial cable. Power rating is 1kW (2kW PEP). The 90 foot (27.5 m) antenna is center fed via an SO-239. The BWD-90 can be installed as 3-pole flat-top, 2-pole flat-top, inverted V, or sloper.
