The Cherokee CBS500 is a real 40 channel base station. It is ready to plug in the wall with a built in AC cord. It features a informative LCD, showing all operation modes, full frequency readout, channel indication and various icons for all other functions. This 40 channel AM CB delivers 4 watts. Illuminated analog RF/S meter plus channel scanning. Controls include: RF Gain, Squelch and Volume. Dual watch channel monitoring is supported plus instant channel 9, instant channel 19 and memory scan. There is a low and high modulation switch. Plus both a NB (noise blanker) and ANL (automatic noise limiter) The Cherokee CBS500 rear panel features a slide switch for 120 VAC or 13.8 VDC operation plus a speaker output jack.

The front panel has a 1/4 inch headphone jack for private listening and 4 pin screw on microphone jack. The radio comes with a dynamic hand mic, AC cord (attached), DC power cord, mic clip hanger and informative manual. Ninety day limited manufacturer's warranty.
