The Cobra 29WXNWST is part of the "WX" series of Cobra radios that features seven NOAA weather channels. You can also receive up-to-the-minute weather information and alerts even when the radio is off. You get the Cobra NightWatch® electroluminescent illumination technology that fully illuminates the radio's function settings for easy viewing at night. The unique, solid-state, electro-luminescent backlighting is powered by a dedicated integrated circuit to maximize night vision while minimizing eye fatigue. A variable dimmer control adjusts to all lighting conditions. This 40 channel radio is full of great features like a noise blanker, automatic noise limiter, noise blanker, dimmer switch and illuminated analog S/RF/SWR meter. The Dynamike Gain control allows you to deliver 100% modulation at talking levels.

You also get an RF gain plus LEDs for RX/TX and antenna warning. A 4 pin hand mic with 9 foot cord is supplied. Requires 13.8 VDC at 1.5 Amps. Size: 8.75 x 2.25 x 7.25 inches, 4 lbs.
