The Lowe HF-150 coverage is from 30 kHz to 30 MHz with variable tuning rate according to speed rotation of the main tuning knob. Modes are AM, AM Synchronous, USB and LSB (also for CW/RTTY/FAX). The dual conversion design features selectable IF bandwidths of 2.5 and 7 kHz. Sixty memories store frequency and mode. The 1 kHz LCD frequency display can also show: memory number, mode, bandwidth and other functions. The rear panel has output jacks for speaker and record output plus the optional wired keypad. There are also two battery compartments that hold four AA cells each (not supplied). This radio also operates from 12 VDC.
Operational Note: Use of external power with non-rechargeable AA batteries installed may cause cells to leak.

Lowe produced many useful accessories for the HF-150 including the PR-150 Preselector, the SP-150 Speaker and the KPAD-1 Keypad. 7.2 x 3.2 x 6.5 inches 3 lbs. (185x80x160mm 1.3 kg).

	The WIN-150 Windows software program provides a simple-to-use graphical interface to the HF-150 and provides a way to maintain the 60 internal memories with comments. It provides an unlimited number of 60-channel "virtual memory" files. It permits scanning in increments appropriate to the band being scanned. It also features an on-screen UTC clock showing correct UTC time and date. Extensive on-line help is provided. Frequencies may be entered to 3 decimal places (e.g. 10000.000). Requires IF-150, Windows 3.x, VGA, HD, serial port.
