The Universal Service A2-3 product detector makes it possible to obtain SSB performance from a Collins 75A-2 or 75A-3 receiver that is comparable to that of new models. It eliminates the need for continual adjustment of RF gain when the conventional CW position is used and gives full AVC on all SSB signals. Installation is easy. Plug the A2-3 into the FM socket. The control replaces the nameplate on the radio's front panel. You do not need to remove the receiver from the cabinet. Use of this product detector does not reduce selectivity or otherwise affect the operation of your receiver.
