The Drake AUX-7 auxiliary board is a plug-in option for the Drake R7, R7A and TR7 which allows the user to program up to 8 auxiliary 500 kHz frequency ranges for instant selection from the front panel. In addition, a crystal socket is provided for each of the eight ranges to allow fixed frequency operation within a selected range.

Each Range Receive Module RRM7 and Range Transmit Module RTM7 (on the TR7), must be programmed for a specific 500 kHz range. The programing is accomplished by removing pins in accordance with the programming chart.
