The Japan Radio Company CFL-243W Bandwidth Control board for the NRD-535 utilizes two direct digital synthesizer to narrow the bandwidth of any selected IF filter in 10 Hz steps.

NOTE:
There are two types of BWC units: The CFL-243 and CFL-243W. The CFL-243 cannot be used in the NRD-535.
