The National NC-183D is a dual conversion general coverage shortwave receiver that tunes:  0.54-1.6, 1.6-4.3, 4.3-12, 12-31 and 48-56 MHz. It als has bandspread for the ham bands: 3.5-4, 6.9-7.3, 14-14.4, 20-21.5, 26.5-30 MHz and 48-56 MHz. Features include:  ¼" headphone jack, S-Meter, antenna trimmer, RF Gain control, dial lamp, Noise limiter, mute, AGC and Hinged top cover. Six selectable bandwidth from 3.5 to 0.1 kHz. Grey metal cabinet.

This radio does not have a built-in speaker. The suggested optional speaker is the NC-183TS.
