The Japan Radio NRD-302A features a built in test capability (B.I.T.E.). To activate this fature press the [MEMO] and [DIM] switches simultaniously. As long as the self test is active the frequency display will the indicate the number of the board being tested. See the table above. When all the boards have been successfully tested, a "Good" indication will be displayed for two seconds.

To return to normal operation, press any switch.
