The Hallicrafters S-108 shortwave receiver tunes .538-1.6, 1.55-4.6, 4.6-13 and 12-34 MHz. It also has bandspread: 3.5-4, 7-7.3, 14-14.4, 20.1-21.5 and 26-30 MHz. Features include: ¼" Headphone Jack, AVC ON/OFF, BFO, RF Gain, ANL, Mute Line, Speaker Terminals, Tone Control, Standby and built in Speaker (top panel).

The single conversion superhet circuit consists of:  6SG7 RF Amp, 6SA7 Converter, 6SK7 1st IF Amp, 6SK7 2nd IF Amp, 6SC7 Audio Amp/BFO, 6K6GT Audio Out, 6H6 Detector/ANL/AVC and 5Y3GT Rectifier. 105-125 VAC 60 Hz. 18.75 x 8.5 x 10.2 inches 32 lbs. 476x216x259mm 14.5 kg.
