The Drake SSR-1 general coverage receiver tunes from 500 kHz to 30 MHz in AM/USB/LSB/CW modes. The controls are very easy to use. The MHz knob (top left) tunes inner MHz dial on display. The main (larger) tuning knob rotates the outer dial (10 kHz graduations). This radio features a built-in, front firing speaker and a 1/4 inch headphone jack. It has a built-in telescopic antenna as well as antenna terminals and a Local/DX switch on the rear panel. It operates from 117 VAC 60 Hz or eight D cells (not supplied). Made in Japan by Seiwa Corporation.
