The Yaesu FT-1500M makes compact, high power 2 Meter operation possible. This radio is only 5 inches wide and under 1.5 inches high! CTCSS encode/decode are built-in. Receive coverage is 137-174 MHz. Power output is:  50/25/10/5 watts.

You get an extensive memory system with 130 alphanumeric memories. A 6 pin mini-DIN jack provides for a quick TNC connection. Yaesu's patent pending aluminum die-cast shell construction dissipates heat throughout the entire transceiver chassis and eliminates the need or a cooling fan.

The supplied MH-48A6J DTMF hand mic is backlit and had three programmable buttons. Direct frequency entry from the hand mic is supported. The MMB-74 mobile mount is supplied.
