IC-2820H Diversity Reception

The Icom IC-2820H features diversity reception. This capability is useful in mobile operations where the received signal strength changes continuously. Within a single band, the radio compares signal strength from each of two antennas and chooses the better signal to maintain signal stability. Diversity receiving is available in 127 MHz, 136 MHz, 146 MHz, 375 MHz, 440 MHz and 500 MHz bands only. (Antennas not supplied).
