The Comet CA-2x4SR dual band is a 2 meter and 440 MHz mobile antenna. It is a 5/8 wave on 2 meters providing 3.8 dB gain and a 5/8 wave on 440 MHz providing 6.2 dB gain. VSWR 1.5 : 1 or less. This antenna can handle up to 150 watts. This antenna is black with three coils on the whip element. The CA-2x4SR is pretuned, but an Allen wrench for adjusting is included.

The CA-2x4SR has a unique broad-band antenna designed for those needing voice communications on the ham radio, public service, land mobile, and FRS frequency ranges. When the amateur radio community is working together with local search and rescue and other public service agencies, the CA-2x4SR antenna allows TX and RX capability in both bands! The coverage area and gain provided by the CA-2x4SR is remarkable. Whether used on VHF or UHF or both, it is an asset to the communications needs of amateurs and land mobile users simultaneously. At 144-148 and 440-450 MHz the SWR is 1.5:1. At 140-160 and 435-465 MHz the SWR is 2:1 or less.

This antenna is 40 inches (1.02 m) high. The connector type is UHF (for PO mount).

The Comet CA-2x4SRNMO is identical, but connector type is NMO for an NMO mount.
These antennas do not include the mount or coax.
