Multiband Antenna
The Chameleon V11 HF Multiband Antenna™ is a omni-directional vertical dipole antenna that does not need a ground. This antenna is ideally designed for field and space-restricted base applications. This antenna, which consists of two V1 elements and mount, requires an antenna tuner (not included). This lightweight antenna system covers 11 bands including: 6m, 10m, 11m (CB), 12m, 15m, 17m, 20m, 30m, 40m, 60m and 80m. The Chameleon V11 can also operate on the 70cm, 1.25m & 2m bands (144 MHz to 500 MHz). It can handle up to 500 watts SSB PEP. The overall height is 16 feet, 8 inches.
Please note that the following items shown in the drawing are not included: non-conductive mast, coax cable, antenna tuner.
When the V11 is mounted vertically, then it will need to be offset by at least 2 feet from the mast and feed line. Please note that the center dipole mount must be isolated from the mast. Additionally, the antenna tuner and radio should be grounded.
