The Chameleon CAUM is a vehicular base unit for 3.5 to 30 MHz. CAUM stands for Chameleon Antenna Universal Mount. It is similar, but internally different from the Chameleon HYBRID. It features an integral broadband impedance matching network allowing broadband antenna tuning. An external antenna tuner is required to operate this unit. The connector provided with the CAUM is a sealed, waterproof SO-239. Both the top and bottom views of this device are shown above.
